Looking for a Laravel developer for a UK project without London agency day rates? I'm Arun Tyagi, a freelance Laravel engineer based in Sector 58, Noida. I work with UK startups and small businesses remotely, and the time difference is kinder than people assume.

Overlap with UK working hours
India sits 4.5 hours ahead of the UK in winter and 5.5 hours ahead in summer. In practice that means my afternoon is your morning. A call at 9:30 a.m. UK time lands at 2 or 3 p.m. for me, which is a perfectly normal working slot. Anything that needs a quick answer in the late afternoon can still reach me, because my evening runs until about 8 p.m. IST.
So, unlike some far-flung setups, the UK can use real-time conversation for the important moments: planning, demos, and difficult decisions. The routine work flows by message and staging builds.
What UK clients bring to me
- SaaS MVPs for a niche B2B market, with subscriptions through Stripe and sensible multi-tenancy. The commercial overview is on the Laravel SaaS page.
- Booking, membership and portal systems for small companies that have outgrown spreadsheets.
- Laravel APIs for React, Next.js or mobile apps.
- Legacy clean-up. An older Laravel site on PHP 7 that needs upgrading before the host switches it off.
- Admin tools that let your non-technical team run the product without opening a ticket.
Practical things UK buyers ask about
GDPR. I build with data minimisation in mind: clear consent fields, deletion and export routines, and no unnecessary third-party scripts. I'm not your lawyer, so your DPO or adviser should review the policies, but the technical foundations are done properly.
Contracts and IP. Code belongs to you on payment. I'm happy to work under an NDA and to commit to your Git repository from day one.
Invoicing. GBP or USD, through Wise, PayPal or bank transfer. You see a written estimate before work begins, with milestones, so you know what each stage costs.
IR35. I'm an independent contractor based outside the UK, working on deliverables rather than as an embedded team member. If your accountant has views on this for a particular engagement, raise it early and we will structure the work to suit.
Proof of delivery
I don't have a UK logo wall to show, and I won't invent one. What I can show is remote delivery for international clients. Dubai Charity was a cross-border build run entirely through async updates and weekly demos. PayBev covers a payments flow, and eZanga shows a live product evolving through staged releases. Read those and see if the working style is one you'd trust.
The rhythm of a project
- Discovery call. Thirty minutes, free. We settle the first release and cut the rest.
- Written Phase 1. Features, timeline, price, and what is explicitly left out.
- Weekly staging demos. Usually timed for UK mid-morning.
- Launch and handover. Backups, deploy notes and a runbook, with an optional retainer if you want me around afterwards.
Not the right fit?
If you need someone physically in London, or a procurement-approved supplier on a framework, I'm not that. If you need a senior developer who explains trade-offs in plain English and doesn't hide behind a project manager, we'll probably get on.
I also work with founders in the Gulf and the US, in case you are comparing: see Laravel developer Dubai and US remote delivery.
