Laravel Developer for US Projects — Remote from India

I'm Arun Tyagi, a freelance Laravel developer working out of Sector 58, Noida, and I take on US clients remotely. If you run a startup or a small company in the States and you are tired of paying for a PM layer on top of the developer, this page explains how working with me actually looks across a 9 to 10 hour time difference.

The time zone, honestly

India is roughly 9.5 hours ahead of US Eastern and 12.5 hours ahead of Pacific, depending on daylight saving. That sounds painful, and for live pair-programming it is. For product work it is less of a problem than people expect, because the rhythm turns into a handoff.

You write down what you need before you finish your day. I work through it during my daytime, which is your night. By the time you open your laptop, there is a build on staging and a short note on what changed and what I need decided. For urgent things, I stay on WhatsApp late in my evening, which lands in your morning. Real-time calls are scheduled for the overlap: your early morning, my late evening.

What US clients hire me for

• SaaS MVPs. Multi-tenant Laravel with Stripe subscriptions, trials and webhooks. If this is you, the commercial details are on the SaaS page.
• API back ends for a React or Next.js front end that your team or another freelancer is building.
• Admin dashboards for operations teams, usually in Filament, with proper roles and audit history.
• Rescue work. A prototype built quickly by a previous contractor that now needs tests, queues and a sane deploy process.
• Ongoing development on a retainer when you need steady output but not a full-time hire.

How the money works

I invoice in USD. Payment through Wise, PayPal or a bank transfer all work, and you get a written estimate before I touch the keyboard. For fixed-scope work, we agree on milestones; for open-ended product work, a monthly retainer of about 40 hours is common. There are no hidden agency markups, because there is no agency.

A small thing that matters to US teams: I'm comfortable signing an NDA and a straightforward contractor agreement, and I keep client code in your repositories, not mine.

Proof you can check

Three projects are public. PayBev is a payments build where secure flows and admin visibility were the point. eZanga is a digital marketing product I worked on under campaign deadlines, with releases going through staging first. Dubai Charity is a cross-border delivery that ran entirely on async communication and weekly demos, which is the exact working pattern a US client will get.

How I keep remote work from drifting

1. A frozen Phase 1. Before coding, we agree in writing on what ships first and what waits.
2. Weekly staging demos. Either a short call or a recorded walkthrough you can watch whenever it suits you.
3. Small pull requests. If your team has developers, they can review my work without a surprise 5,000-line diff.
4. Handover notes. Environment variables, deploy steps, scheduled jobs, third-party accounts, all written down.

Is this a fit?

It fits if you want a senior Laravel person, can write down requirements reasonably well, and are comfortable with async updates. It does not fit if you need someone on a video call all day in Central time, or if you want a company with a legal entity in your state. In those cases I'll tell you plainly and save you the discovery call.
