Every website design company in Noida will show you a portfolio, a process diagram, and a quote. What they rarely show you is who is actually going to build your site. In many cases, it is a freelancer or junior employee you will never speak to. So if you have to deal with a freelancer anyway, why not choose one yourself?
I'm Arun Tyagi, a freelance website developer and designer in Sector 58, Noida. I am the alternative to a design company for businesses that want direct access, lower cost, and a site that performs, not just one that looks good in a presentation.
Agency or freelancer: how to decide
| Factor | Design company | Freelancer (me) |
|---|---|---|
| Price for a 6-10 page business site | ?50,000 - ?2,00,000 | ?20,000 - ?70,000 |
| Who you speak to | Account manager | The person building it |
| Design variety | In-house designers, several concepts | One focused direction, refined with you |
| Delivery speed | 4-8 weeks typical | 2-5 weeks typical |
| Large teams and rebrands | Better equipped | Limited capacity |
| Post-launch changes | Ticket system, slower | Direct message, faster |
Agencies make sense when you need a full brand identity, photography, copywriting, and campaign work in one package. If you just need a solid website, much of the agency price covers things you are not using.
How I approach design
I am a developer first, so I design with the build in mind. That means layouts that translate cleanly to code, load quickly, and work on a phone before they work on a large monitor. I do not produce twelve visual concepts; I produce one considered direction, informed by your competitors, your audience, and your content.
- Content before decoration. A site with strong, clear text beats an empty one with fancy animation.
- Mobile first. Most visitors in India arrive on a phone.
- Clear calls to action. Call, WhatsApp, enquire. One main action per page.
- Readable typography and contrast. Accessibility is good design, not an extra.
- Speed budget. Optimised images, minimal scripts, no bloated sliders.
When I recommend a design studio instead
If you need a logo, brand guidelines, printed material, product photography, and a site that all match, hire a studio for the identity and bring me in to build the site from their designs. I have worked that way, and it is often the best of both.

Compare and decide
Get two or three quotes, mine included. Ask each who will build the site and when you can see it on staging. If you want a straight comparison, send me the quotes you have received on WhatsApp at +91 8791775933 and I will tell you what is reasonable. Or book a free call to talk through your project.
